Microsoft & RIM partner to make Bing default search engine

RIM and Microsoft announced a partnership yesterday that will make Bing the default search engine and maps provider on all new RIM devices.  This is a clear indication of Microsoft’s efforts to gain share on Google which currently holds the #1 mobile search portal slot.
