At a press conference today in Mountain View, CA LinkedIn CEO, Jeff Weiner revealed the company’s new product strategy. In their effort to become the “primary source for professional insights.” the company has launched a personalized news feed called LinkedIn Today. The new service is offered both online and via their mobile platform.
“Today provides different lenses for checking out top news in not just a user’s network, but in entire industries. For example, users can check out the hot stories in marketing and advertising, private equity or politics. The company says it’s a quick way for busy business users to get the top stories of the day.”
