Why People “Unlike” Brands On Facebook

According to a joint study performed by CoTweet and ExactTarget, all the reasons people “unlike” friends on Facebook are content related.  Another point to note is that 24% reported “unliking” because not enough deals were offered, a proof point that social commerce has become a mainstream behavior in the social media space.

    I think brands you “like” on facebook are also the brands whose website you visit often and/or you have an email subscription to. Thus, getting random posts from them on fb seems pointless because you already know what they’re offering usually before they even post it. It just seems redundant.This survey is interesting and rings true.
