In a move to create more consumer engagement, AT&T teamed up with Bazaarvoice to create a dedicated page that allows customers to read, review and share product reviews for AT&T mobile devices on their Facebook page. According to the company, the page allows consumers to “engage with each other on Facebook around the products they love.” Let’s not forget that AT&T was rated worst in service by Consumer Reports in a recent cellular service survey. According to AT&T in an interview conducted by Mediapost, “Browsing product reviews has become an integral part of the online purchase process for more than 70% of consumers, and we recognize the importance of bringing those customer conversations to the forefront of our business,” said Christopher Baccus, executive director of digital and social media at AT&T.
