China’s largest PC vendor, Lenovo is planning to launch a tablet in the US and China in 2011 called LePad. No information about pricing, operating system or screen size has been released but Lenovo has the potential to be a serious player alongside other new market entrants like Dell, Samsung and RIM and the 96% shareholder Apple’s iPad which according to Jupiter sold 4.4MM devices in Q3’10. It will undoubtedly be an interesting device launch to follow.
